Below are some images from Tint and Tone, a group exhibition at The Strand Arcade in Auckland.

This exhibition was an experimental collaboration between myself and Jessica Webb. We were given the opportunity to activate The Strand Arcade which needed some new life after covid and the negative effect that had on foot traffic in Auckland.

My practice is an investigation into colour through using discarded paints, and is a way of revealing colour trends, raising the question of why we choose the colours we do, while also raising awareness of the wastage of usable material in residential and commercial painting. I aim to create value out of discarded material, (which would otherwise go waste), in a way where my doing so isn’t the sole focus of the work, but more a logical attitude towards creating sustainable art.
